Group Class
and
Ensembles

In group class we play  music games, many of which are more fun with other students. We solidify our technique and repertoire by teaching and encouraging each other. We will learn to perform together with precision and in harmony, taking turns leading and cueing.

Studies show that children who participate in group class progress more rapidly and perform more confidently than those who do not. They are also less likely to forget what they learn.

Baton Rouge Conservatory also offers coaching for chamber ensembles like violin duos, string quartets, and fiddle teams.

Students must be enrolled in private lessons to participate in string groups. If you or your child is enrolled elsewhere and would like to participate, please contact us.
